Benny Wallet
Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 7, 2026. This policy explains what Benny Wallet processes when you use the mobile app and website, what stays on your device, and how we approach security.
1. Information We Process
Depending on the features you use, Benny Wallet may process the following categories of information:
- Public wallet addresses that you create, import, or view.
- Public blockchain data related to those addresses, such as balances, token holdings, and transaction history.
- Technical request data needed to operate the service, such as IP address, app version, user agent, request timestamps, and limited diagnostic logs.
- QR code contents that you choose to scan after granting camera permission.
- Notification permission status and local notification events when you enable in-app alerts.
- Security preference state, such as whether you enable biometric unlock or a device-local PIN.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not intentionally collect or upload the most sensitive wallet secrets to our servers.
- Recovery phrases or seed phrases.
- Private keys.
- Plaintext PIN values.
- Raw biometric data such as fingerprint or face templates.
These secrets are handled locally on your device using OS-provided protections and secure storage where applicable.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide wallet, portfolio, swap, token detail, and QR features.
- Authenticate sessions and protect backend endpoints from abuse.
- Rate limit sensitive authentication flows and investigate suspicious activity.
- Display local notifications that you choose to enable on your device.
- Improve stability, diagnose failures, and maintain service security.
4. Permissions
Camera
Camera access is used only when you open the QR scanner to read a wallet address or related QR content.
Notifications
Notification access is used for local wallet alerts generated on your device. Benny Wallet does not currently use a remote push notification service for these alerts.
Biometric Unlock
If you enable biometric unlock, the verification is performed by your device operating system. Benny Wallet does not receive or store raw biometric templates.
5. Third-Party Services
Benny Wallet relies on third-party infrastructure and data providers to deliver core features. Those providers may receive standard network request metadata when your device or our backend interacts with them.
- Railway for hosting Benny Wallet backend and website services.
- Solana RPC and blockchain data providers.
- CoinGecko for price data.
- DexScreener for market metadata and token website references.
- Jupiter services for swap-related functionality.
- Google Play for Android distribution and store operations.
6. Retention and Security
Public blockchain information is inherently public and may remain visible on-chain indefinitely. Benny Wallet server-side diagnostic logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for operations, troubleshooting, security, and legal compliance.
- Network traffic is protected with HTTPS.
- Sensitive wallet material is stored locally with platform security controls where supported.
- Android backups for the app are disabled to reduce accidental data exposure.
- Additional in-app protections may be enabled on sensitive screens.
7. Children and Family Use
Benny Wallet includes family-oriented features, but it is not intended to be operated independently by young children without parent or guardian involvement. If you use family features, you are responsible for supervising how wallet information is shared and managed.
8. Contact

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date above.
